Stat. tit. 82, § 82-669","heading":"Suits for or against district - Name - Service of process","body":"In all suits in any court for damages, condemnation or other\n\nproceedings, whether brought for or against such conservancy\n\ndistrict, the same shall be brought in the name of the conservancy\n\ndistrict as fixed and established by the decree of incorporation,\n\nand shall be under the direction of its board of directors and in\n\nall suits against such conservancy district service of summons shall\n\nbe issued and served upon the president of the board of directors;\n\nor, if the president of said board of directors is not found in the\n\ncounty, then upon a member of the board of directors of said\n\ndistrict, or if none of the aforesaid directors can be found, then\n\nby serving the secretary or treasurer and by leaving a copy thereof\n\nat the principal office or usual place of business of said district,\n\nwith the person having charge thereof.","path":["OK Code","Title 82"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os82.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"15eacdd687e20d5437fb46e8419a16e10feb1559d493a592c3241188618aa51c","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-82-82-668","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-82-82-671"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
