Stat. tit. 82, § 82-686","heading":"Short forms and abbreviations","body":"For the sake of convenience:\n\n(a) In any orders of the court the words, \"The court now here\n\nfinds that it hath jurisdiction of the parties to and of the subject\n\nmatter of this proceeding,\" shall be equivalent to a finding that\n\neach jurisdiction upon the court, beginning with the proper signing\n\nand filing of the initial petition to the date of the order\n\ncontaining such recital, have been scrutinized by the court and\n\nfound to meet every legal requirement imposed by this act.\n\n(b) No other or further evidence of the legal hypothecation of\n\nthe special assessment to the payment of the bonds shall be required\n\nthan the passage of a bonding resolution by the board of directors\n\nand the issuance of bonds in accordance therewith.\n\n(c) In the preparation of any assessment or appraisal roll the\n\nusual abbreviations employed by engineers, surveyors and abstractors\n\nmay be used.\n\n(d) Where properly to describe any parcel of land it would be\n\nnecessary to use a long description, the appraisers, after locating\n\nthe land generally may refer to the book and page of the public\n\nrecord of any instrument in which the land is described, which\n\nreference shall suffice to identify for all the purposes of this act\n\nthe land described in this public record referred to.\n\n(e) It shall not be necessary in any notice required by this act\n\nto be published to specify the names of the owners of the lands or\n\nof the persons interested therein; but any such notice may be\n\naddressed, \"To All Persons Interested,\" with like effect as though\n\nsuch notice named by name every owner, of any lands within the\n\nterritory specified in the notice and every person interested\n\ntherein, and every lienor, actual or inchoate, except that the\n\nnotice of assessments or appraisals shall be as provided otherwise\n\nherein.\n\n(f) Every district heretofore created or hereinafter declared\n\nupon hearing to be a conservancy district shall be an improvement\n\ndistrict as provided in Article 16 of the Constitution of Oklahoma,\n\nand shall be invested with all the powers and privileges conferred\n\nupon such districts by the Constitution of Oklahoma and this act.","path":["OK Code","Title 82"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os82.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"402d62b75b83d7ac936e9733a36fa5dc2bf92e9b9ab2fec1a6344c6685890881","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-82-82-685","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-82-82-687"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
