Stat. tit. 82, § 82-896.11","heading":"Scenic rivers - Statement of purpose","body":"The Legislature finds that the protection and development of the\n\nscenic rivers in the state and adjacent and contiguous lands and\n\nquality of outstanding resource waters included within each scenic\n\nriver should be provided for by properly planned and executed rules\n\npromulgated by the Grand River Dam Authority. The rules promulgated\n\nby the Authority with respect to scenic rivers may address public\n\nservices, land use, occupancy, structures, lot and plot sizes,\n\ndensity of population and other activities as required for the\n\nproper protection of the aesthetic, scenic, historic, archeologic\n\nand scientific features of the scenic rivers, or deemed necessary\n\nfor the protection of the ecosystem and the environment from\n\npollution, despoliation and destruction or waste of natural\n\nresources and all other factors adversely affecting the public\n\nhealth, safety and the general welfare so long as the rules comply\n\nwith the exempt provisions of the Scenic Rivers Act pertaining to\n\nfarming, ranching, forestry, silviculture and other agricultural\n\nuses.","path":["OK Code","Title 82"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os82.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"7a0db053fe414fa18de44e3d82b257af63e2de6b265413360a849b8b02bb230e","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-82-82-896.10","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-82-82-896.12"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
