Stat. tit. 84, § 84-305","heading":"Life insurance policies - Trustee named by will as","body":"beneficiary.\n\nA policy of life insurance may designate as beneficiary a\n\ntrustee or trustees named by will, if the designation is made in\n\naccordance with the provisions of the policy and the requirements of\n\nthe insurance company. The trustee or trustees may be appointed\n\nimmediately after the proving of the will, and, upon appointment and\n\nqualification, proceeds of such insurance shall be paid to the\n\ntrustee or trustees to be held and disposed of under the terms of\n\nthe will as they exist as of the date of the death of the testator\n\nand in the same manner as other testamentary trusts are\n\nadministered; but if no qualified trustee makes claim to the\n\nproceeds from the insurance company within twelve (12) months after\n\nthe death of the insured, or if satisfactory evidence is furnished\n\nto the insurance company within such twelve-month period showing\n\nthat there is or will be no trustee to receive the proceeds, payment\n\nshall be made by the insurance company to the executors,\n\nadministrators or assigns of the insured, unless otherwise provided\n\nby agreement with the insurance company during the lifetime of the\n\ninsured.","path":["OK Code","Title 84"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os84.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"7352ea83e5aa3e6d287eaf3e13425d9539c3b35587eb200246339dc2f3268bc0","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-84-84-304","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-84-84-306"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
