In order that the liability for compensation may be\n\neffectively administered, the employer's carrier may discharge the\n\nobligations and duties of the employer under this act if the\n\nemployer is not a self-insurer.\n\nB. For the purpose of an employer's carrier discharging the\n\nobligation and duties of the employer:\n\n1. An employer's knowledge of an injury shall constitute the\n\ncarrier's knowledge of the injury;\n\n2. The Commission shall have jurisdiction over the carrier to\n\nthe same extent it has over the employer under this act; and\n\n3.
