Stat. tit. 85A, § 85A-60","heading":"Evaluation of permanent disability","body":"The Physician Advisory Committee may recommend the adoption of a\n\nmethod or system to evaluate permanent disability that shall deviate\n\nfrom, or be used in place of or in combination with the Guides.\n\nSuch recommendation shall be made to the Workers' Compensation\n\nCommission which may adopt the recommendation in part or in whole.\n\nThe adopted method or system shall be submitted by the Executive\n\nDirector of the Commission to the Governor, the Speaker of the House\n\nof Representatives and the President Pro Tempore of the Senate\n\nwithin the first ten (10) legislative days of a regular session of\n\nthe Legislature. Such method or system so submitted shall be\n\nsubject to disapproval by joint or concurrent resolution of the\n\nLegislature during the legislative session in which submitted. If\n\ndisapproved, the existing method of determining permanent partial\n\ndisability shall continue in effect.
