Unless an employee gives oral or written notice to the\n\nemployer within thirty (30) days of the date an injury occurs, the\n\nrebuttable presumption shall be that the injury was not work-\n\nrelated. Such presumption must be overcome by a preponderance of\n\nthe evidence.\n\nB. Unless an employee gives oral or written notice to the\n\nemployer within thirty (30) days of the employee's separation from\n\nemployment, there shall be a rebuttable presumption that an\n\noccupational disease or cumulative trauma injury did not arise out\n\nof and in the course of employment.
