The Commission shall have the power to preserve and enforce\n\norder during any proceeding before it, to issue subpoenas for and\n\nadminister oaths to and compel the attendance and testimony of\n\nwitnesses, and require the production of books, papers, documents,\n\nand other evidence.\n\nB. If any person or party attending any proceeding before the\n\nCommission disobeys or resists any lawful order or process,\n\nobstructs the hearing, neglects to produce any book, paper or\n\ndocument after having been ordered to do so, refuses to appear after\n\nhaving been subpoenaed, refuses to take oath as a witness, refuses\n\nto be examined according to law, refuses to comply with any final\n\njudgment of an administrative law judge or the Commission or\n\nwillfully refuses to pay an uncontroverted medical or related\n\nexpense within forty-five (45) days after the respondent has\n\nreceived the statement, the person or party, at the discretion of\n\nthe administrative law judge or the Commission, may be found to be\n\nin contempt of the Commission and may be subject to a fine not to\n\nexceed Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00).","path":["OK Code","Title 85A"],"source_url":"https://www.oklegislature.gov/OK_Statutes/CompleteTitles/os85A.pdf","current_through":"2026-08-14","vintage":"open-us-law v2026.08, retrieved 2026-09-14","retrieved_at":"2026-09-14T18:32:36Z","sha256":"6cf2df0ee7fa4e97d494a69e2c908e35665dac8b0307ebffd1cb5711db7f2256","source_id":"us-ok","stale":false,"prev":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-85a-85a-72","next":"us-ok/okla.-stat.-tit.-85a-85a-74"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
