{"data":{"id":"us-or/ors-109.714","jurisdiction":"us-or","citation":"ORS 109.714","heading":"International application of ORS 109.701 to 109.834.","body":"(1) A court of this state shall treat a foreign country as if it were a state of the United States for the purpose of applying ORS 109.701 to 109.771.\n      (2) Except as otherwise provided in subsection (3) of this section, a child custody determination made in a foreign country under factual circumstances in substantial conformity with the jurisdictional standards of ORS 109.701 to 109.834 must be recognized and enforced under ORS 109.774 to 109.827.\n      (3) A court of this state need not apply ORS 109.701 to 109.834 if the child custody law of a foreign country violates fundamental principles of human rights.","path":["03 - Landlord-Tenant, Domestic Relations, Probate","11.
