{"data":{"id":"us-or/ors-236.605","jurisdiction":"us-or","citation":"ORS 236.605","heading":"Definitions for ORS 236.605 to 236.640.","body":"As used in ORS 236.605 to 236.640:\n      (1) “Public employee” means an employee whose compensation is paid from public funds.\n      (2) “Public employer” includes any of the following entities that has accepted the transfer of a public program from a public employer in this state for maintenance and operation:\n      (a) The state;\n      (b) Cities;\n      (c) Counties;\n      (d) School districts;\n      (e) Special districts;\n      (f) Education service districts; and\n      (g) Oregon nonprofit corporations.\n      (3) “Transfer” does not include the transfer of an employee from a nonprofit corporation to a nonprofit corporation.","path":["06 - Local Government, Public Employees, Elections","22.
