{"data":{"id":"us-or/ors-329.501","jurisdiction":"us-or","citation":"ORS 329.501","heading":"Grants for physical education; rules.","body":"(1) The Department of Education shall award grants to school districts and public charter schools for the purpose of meeting the physical education requirements of ORS 329.496.\n      (2) A district or school that receives a grant may use the grant to:\n      (a) Hire teachers who specialize in physical education; and\n      (b) Provide in-service training to teachers on the academic content standards for physical education and the requirements of ORS 329.496.\n      (3) The department shall determine:\n      (a) The amount of a grant;\n      (b) The criteria for awarding a grant; and\n      (c) The process for awarding grants.\n      (4) The State Board of Education may adopt any rules necessary to administer this section.","path":["09 - Education and Culture","30.
