{"data":{"id":"us-or/ors-332.012","jurisdiction":"us-or","citation":"ORS 332.012","heading":"Method for increasing number of board members.","body":"(1) Except as provided in ORS 255.400 to 255.424, a district school board may increase the number of board members from five members to seven members on its own motion, or the district school board:\n      (a) May submit the question to the electors of the school district; or\n      (b) Shall submit the question to the electors of the school district when a petition is filed as provided in this section.\n      (2) Subject to ORS 332.118, a petition filed under this section shall be prepared, circulated and filed as provided for an initiative petition in ORS 255.135 to 255.205.","path":["09 - Education and Culture","30.
