{"data":{"id":"us-or/ors-350.085","jurisdiction":"us-or","citation":"ORS 350.085","heading":"Mission statements and academic programs of public universities.","body":"The Higher Education Coordinating Commission shall:\n      (1) Approve all mission statements of the public universities listed in ORS 352.002; and\n      (2) Approve all significant changes to academic programs offered at the public universities, and shall ensure that the changes:\n      (a) Are consistent with the mission statement of the respective public university;\n      (b) Do not unnecessarily duplicate academic programs offered by other public universities;\n      (c) Are not located in a geographic area that will cause undue hardship to Oregon’s other public universities; and\n      (d) Are allocated among the public universities to maximize the achievement of statewide needs and requirements.","path":["09 - Education and Culture","30.
