{"data":{"id":"us-or/ors-441.767","jurisdiction":"us-or","citation":"ORS 441.767","heading":"Staffing plans for psychiatric units.","body":"(1) As used in this section, “psychiatric unit” includes:\n      (a) Inpatient psychiatric units;\n      (b) Psychiatric geriatric units;\n      (c) Psychiatric pediatric units;\n      (d) Emergency departments that provide psychiatric emergency service, as defined by the Oregon Health Authority by rule; and\n      (e) The Oregon State Hospital.\n      (2) A psychiatric unit shall create a multidisciplinary subcommittee of the hospital nurse staffing committee consisting of staff from the unit. The subcommittee shall adopt the staffing plan for the psychiatric unit and shall be considered a hospital nurse staffing committee for purposes of:\n      (a) The adoption of a nurse staffing plan under ORS 441.762 and 441.763; and\n      (b) Provisions of ORS 441.766 related to:\n      (A) Dispute resolution through mandatory arbitration; and\n      (B) Determining the circumstances when the nurse-to-patient ratios in ORS 441.765 will not apply.","path":["12 - Public Health","36.
