{"data":{"id":"us-or/ors-821.130","jurisdiction":"us-or","citation":"ORS 821.130","heading":"Out-of-state snowmobile permit; qualifications; duration; application; fees.","body":"(1) An out-of-state snowmobile permit is a vehicle permit that is issued as evidence of a grant of authority to operate in this state a snowmobile that is:\n      (a) Owned by a resident of another state;\n      (b) Not registered in this state or in the other state; and\n      (c) Exempt from registration under ORS 821.090.\n      (2) The Department of Transportation shall establish a program for the issuance of out-of-state snowmobile permits under this section. The program established by the department shall comply with all of the following:\n      (a) A permit may only be issued for snowmobiles owned by the resident of another state where registration is not required by law.\n      (b) A permit is valid for not more than 60 days.\n      (c) Application for a permit shall state the name and address of each owner.\n      (d) The fees for issuance of the permit are as provided under ORS 821.320.","path":["19 - Utilities, Vehicle Code, Watercraft, Aviation","59.
