{"data":{"id":"us-pa/4-pa.c.s.-1311.1","jurisdiction":"us-pa","citation":"4 Pa.C.S. § 1311.1","heading":"Licensing of principals.","body":"(a) License required.--All principals shall obtain a principal license from the board.\n(b) Application.--A principal license application shall be in a form prescribed by the board and shall include the following:\n(1) Verification of status as a principal from a slot machine licensee, manufacturer licensee or supplier licensee.\n(2) A description of responsibilities as a principal.\n(3) All releases necessary to obtain information from governmental agencies, employers and other organizations.\n(4) Fingerprints, which shall be submitted to the Pennsylvania State Police.\n(5) A photograph that meets the standards of the Commonwealth Photo Imaging Network.\n(6) Details relating to a similar license, permit or other authorization obtained in another jurisdiction.\n(7) Any additional information required by the board.\n(c) Issuance.--Following review of the application and the background investigation, the board may issue a principal license if the applicant has proven by clear and convincing evidence that the applicant is a person of good character, honesty and integrity and is eligible and suitable to be licensed as a principal.\n(d) Nontransferability.--A license issued under this section shall be nontransferable.\n(e) Principals.--An individual who receives a principal license need not obtain a key employee license.","path":["Title 4 - AMUSEMENTS","PART II GAMING","CHAPTER 13 LICENSEES"],"source_url":"https://www.palegis.us/statutes/consolidated/view-statute?txtType=HTM\u0026ttl=04\u0026div=0\u0026chpt=13\u0026sctn=11\u0026subsctn=1","current_through":"2026-08-05 (Statute Update stamp, 4 Pa.C.S.)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-02T16:30:18Z","sha256":"ef7ce158c034e30f8e4ee829451e3af4cc85844aab048bcb55f2b2c17f39086b","source_id":"us-pa","stale":false,"prev":"us-pa/4-pa.c.s.-1311","next":"us-pa/4-pa.c.s.-1311.2"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
