{"data":{"id":"us-pa/53-pa.c.s.-2541","jurisdiction":"us-pa","citation":"53 Pa.C.S. § 2541","heading":"Election of board.","body":"(a) Petition for election.--If a referendum for the adoption of an environmental improvement compact is approved by a majority of voters in each municipality involved, the governing bodies shall, within 30 days of the certification of the results of the referendum election, submit to the election officials a petition to provide for the election of the board.\n(b) Terms of office.--The majority of the members to be elected to the first board receiving the highest number of votes in the election shall serve for four-year terms, while the remainder shall serve for two-year terms.
