{"data":{"id":"us-pa/62-pa.c.s.-2202","jurisdiction":"us-pa","citation":"62 Pa.C.S. § 2202","heading":"Woman-owned business, minority-owned business or veteran-owned business.","body":"(a) Department verification.--The following shall apply:\n(1) The department shall establish a process to verify a diverse or disadvantaged business as Pennsylvania home state-certified for the purpose of other state or national disadvantaged business programs.\n(2) The department shall verify a business that has been certified as a diverse or disadvantaged business by a third-party organization recognized by the department.\n(b) Notice.--A business verified under subsection (a)(2) may request the department to provide notice of the business status under this chapter.\n(c) Lists.--The department shall compile, maintain and make available source lists of businesses verified by the department as a diverse or disadvantaged business for the purpose of encouraging procurement from those businesses.\n(d) Regulations.--The department may promulgate regulations to administer this section.","path":["Title 62 - PROCUREMENT","PART I COMMONWEALTH PROCUREMENT CODE","CHAPTER 22 DIVERSE AND DISADVANTAGED BUSINESSES"],"source_url":"https://www.palegis.us/statutes/consolidated/view-statute?txtType=HTM\u0026ttl=62\u0026div=0\u0026chpt=22\u0026sctn=2\u0026subsctn=0","current_through":"2026-03-18 (Statute Update stamp, 62 Pa.C.S.)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-02T16:34:43Z","sha256":"cb97b1dafc8cf62b9a039dce80d6154b97f24ae01f5cf6171e9926a28cd5fa7e","source_id":"us-pa","stale":false,"prev":"us-pa/62-pa.c.s.-2201","next":"us-pa/62-pa.c.s.-2301"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
