{"data":{"id":"us-pa/62-pa.c.s.-4505","jurisdiction":"us-pa","citation":"62 Pa.C.S. § 4505","heading":"Suspension or debarment.","body":"(a) Maximum suspension or debarment.--A government agency proceeding under its rules and regulations to exclude or render ineligible a person from participation in contracts or subcontracts based upon conduct prohibited by section 4503 (relating to prohibited activities) shall limit the exclusion or ineligibility to a period not to exceed the following:\n(1) Three years in the case of a person found for the first time to have engaged in this conduct.\n(2) Five years in the case of a person found to have engaged in this conduct for a second or subsequent time.\n(b) Lists of persons excluded.--A government agency that lets a contract by competitive bidding shall maintain a current list of persons excluded or ineligible by reason of suspension or debarment for participation in contracts or subcontracts with that agency and shall furnish a copy of the list upon request to a person considering the submission of a bid as a prime contractor or as a subcontractor.","path":["Title 62 - PROCUREMENT","PART II GENERAL PROCUREMENT PROVISIONS","CHAPTER 45 ANTIBID-RIGGING"],"source_url":"https://www.palegis.us/statutes/consolidated/view-statute?txtType=HTM\u0026ttl=62\u0026div=0\u0026chpt=45\u0026sctn=5\u0026subsctn=0","current_through":"2026-03-18 (Statute Update stamp, 62 Pa.C.S.)","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-02T16:34:43Z","sha256":"fc7c65a3e44f07b435b74cdf6dae222151fab4b250315bb340f3abe0c7929cdc","source_id":"us-pa","stale":false,"prev":"us-pa/62-pa.c.s.-4504","next":"us-pa/62-pa.c.s.-4506"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
