Laws § 11-52.3-5","heading":"Penalties.","body":"(a) Any person convicted of any offense under §§ 11-52.3-2 and 11-52.3-4, if the value of the property is less than five hundred dollars ($500), shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and shall be imprisoned for not more than one year, or by a fine of not more than one thousand dollars ($1,000), or both.
