Laws § 15-23.1-104","heading":"Application of this chapter to resident of foreign country and foreign support proceeding.","body":"(a) A tribunal of this state shall apply this chapter to a support proceeding involving:\n(1) A foreign support order;\n(2) A foreign tribunal; or\n(3) An obligee, obligor or a child residing in a foreign country.\n(b) A tribunal of this state that is requested to recognize and enforce a support order on the basis of comity may apply the procedural and substantive provisions of this chapter.\n(c) Article 7 of this chapter applies only to a support proceeding under the convention.
