Laws § 16-45.1-3","heading":"Report to the general assembly.","body":"Beginning on January 1, 2012, the department of elementary and secondary education shall provide the senate president and speaker of the house an annual report consisting of the following:\n(1) The total number of students attending career and technical schools/programs, where determinable;\n(2) The total number of those students in subsection (1) who have received diplomas;\n(3) The total number of those students in subsection (1) who have received industry recognized certificates, if the information is available;\n(4) The total number of students who transfer to another school and/or continue their secondary education;\n(5) The total number of students who obtain employment before or immediately after graduation;\n(6) The total number of students who attend post-secondary institutions;\n(7) The retention rate within each program from year to year;\n(8) Progress on developing a plan to study the number of students who find employment in the field studied at three (3) and five (5) years intervals post-graduation;\n(9) The cost per pupil per program per year; and\n(10) The number of special education students per program.","path":["Title 16 Education","Chapter 45.1 Career and Technical Education [See Title 16 Chapter 97 — The Rhode Island Board of Education Act]"],"source_url":"https://webserver.rilegislature.gov/Statutes/TITLE16/16-45.1/16-45.1-3.htm","current_through":"site files published 2025-08-13","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T19:55:51Z","sha256":"9de05f48882005228b1eef8188b0e4ab987e8685f5685067f1643a21c20cc073","source_id":"us-ri","stale":true,"prev":"us-ri/r.i.-gen.-laws-16-45.1-2","next":"us-ri/r.i.-gen.-laws-16-46-1-16-46-10"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
