Laws § 20-2-5","heading":"Replacement of lost or destroyed certificate.","body":"(a) Whoever loses, or by a mistake or accident destroys, his or her certificate of a commercial marine fisheries license may, upon application to the department accompanied by an affidavit fully setting forth the circumstances of the loss, receive a duplicate certificate for the remainder of the year covered by the original certificate for a fee of ten dollars ($10.00) for each duplicate license.\n(b) Whoever loses, or by mistake or accident destroys, his or her certificate of a noncommercial license may, upon application to the department accompanied by an affidavit fully setting forth the circumstances of loss, receive a duplicate certificate for the remainder of the year covered by the original certificate for a fee of two dollars ($2.00).","path":["Title 20 Fish and Wildlife","Chapter 2 Licensing"],"source_url":"https://webserver.rilegislature.gov/Statutes/TITLE20/20-2/20-2-5.htm","current_through":"site files published 2025-08-13","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T19:56:17Z","sha256":"db006d4a4c6666aba441c42bb0a8b4d74c71a1e1a6a6e737131abf4d736a46d8","source_id":"us-ri","stale":true,"prev":"us-ri/r.i.-gen.-laws-20-2-4.1","next":"us-ri/r.i.-gen.-laws-20-2-6"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
