Laws § 21-28.12-5.4","heading":"Hearing on kratom products confiscated, fines, or license suspension or revocation. [Effective April 1, 2026.]","body":"(a) When any kratom products are confiscated under the provisions of § 21-28.12-5.1, upon the request of a person claiming an interest in the kratom the department shall conduct a hearing in accordance with the procedures as set forth in chapter 35 of title 42 (“administrative procedures”).\n(b) When a fine or license suspension or revocation occurs under the provisions of this chapter, upon the request of the aggrieved party, the department shall conduct a hearing in accordance with the procedures as set forth in chapter 35 of title 42 (“administrative procedures”).\n(c) When a person aggrieved by any action under this chapter, upon the request of a person claiming an interest in the kratom the department shall conduct a hearing in accordance with the procedures as set forth in chapter 35 of title 42 (“administrative procedures”).","path":["Title 21 Food and Drugs","CHAPTER 28.12 The Rhode Island Kratom Act [Effective April 1, 2026.]"],"source_url":"https://webserver.rilegislature.gov/Statutes/TITLE21/21-28.12/21-28.12-5.4.htm","current_through":"site files published 2025-08-13","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T19:56:29Z","sha256":"83ec49dc414c2ba774cb713e15587ae2f92cf78d27bbad7edb8e0fb05e320250","source_id":"us-ri","stale":true,"prev":"us-ri/r.i.-gen.-laws-21-28.12-5.3","next":"us-ri/r.i.-gen.-laws-21-28.12-5.5"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
