Laws § 21-31.1-6","heading":"Denial of permit.","body":"(a) A permit may be denied for any of the following:\n(1) The applicant has failed to file a complete permit application or the application contains material false information.\n(2) The applicant is not qualified by the criteria established by regulation of the director.\n(3) The applicant has previously had a permit revoked.\n(4) The applicant has failed to pay the annual fee.\n(5) The applicant has previously been convicted of a violation of law connected with the practice of veterinary medicine or the distribution of drugs.\n(b) When a permit is denied, the director will cite the reasons for denial, and the applicant may request a hearing as provided by the provisions of the Administrative Procedures Act, chapter 35 of title 42.","path":["Title 21 Food and Drugs","Chapter 31.1 Veterinary Drugs"],"source_url":"https://webserver.rilegislature.gov/Statutes/TITLE21/21-31.1/21-31.1-6.htm","current_through":"site files published 2025-08-13","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T19:56:29Z","sha256":"e8abffc4031092fcfe1a9a1a0ccacadb0ccde7ce2a8fb799f10d443808bf100b","source_id":"us-ri","stale":true,"prev":"us-ri/r.i.-gen.-laws-21-31.1-5","next":"us-ri/r.i.-gen.-laws-21-31.1-7"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
