Laws § 23-13.4-5","heading":"Review of “decaBDE” Study.","body":"By February 28, 2007, the department of health shall submit to the general assembly a report that reviews the department of environmental management’s decaBDE study. In addition to a review of any public health implications the department of health believes would result from exposure to decaBDE, it shall also comment on the following:\n(1) The known exposure pathways for humans to decaBDE;\n(2) What scientific evidence exists to demonstrate that decaBDE breaks down into other chemicals that could pose public health concerns; and\n(3) What research and analysis exists on the potential human health effects of flame retardants that could be used as alternative to decaBDE.","path":["Title 23 Health and Safety","Chapter 13.4 Hazardous Chemicals — Contamination of Breast Milk and Environment"],"source_url":"https://webserver.rilegislature.gov/Statutes/TITLE23/23-13.4/23-13.4-5.htm","current_through":"site files published 2025-08-13","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T19:56:42Z","sha256":"c19b9377fa2fbd1dbc78c26160e64a7f1a4e21ad26db6d4cd25d57d870e11f15","source_id":"us-ri","stale":true,"prev":"us-ri/r.i.-gen.-laws-23-13.4-4","next":"us-ri/r.i.-gen.-laws-23-13.4-6"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
