Laws § 23-17.17-4","heading":"Program requirements — Adoption of rules and regulations.","body":"(a) The quality performance measurement and reporting program established under this chapter shall, at a minimum, incorporate the following:\n(1) A standardized data set of clinical performance measures, risk-adjusted for patient variables, that shall be collected and reported periodically to the department, and\n(2) Comparable, statistically valid patient satisfaction measures that shall be conducted periodically by facilities and/or health care providers and reported to the department.\n(b) In accordance with the provisions of § 42-35-3, the director is authorized to adopt, promulgate, and enforce rules and regulations designed to implement the provisions of this chapter including the details and format for the periodic reporting requirements.","path":["Title 23 Health and Safety","Chapter 17.17 Health Care Quality Program"],"source_url":"https://webserver.rilegislature.gov/Statutes/TITLE23/23-17.17/23-17.17-4.htm","current_through":"site files published 2025-08-13","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T19:56:48Z","sha256":"47522f475be542b735f749a33aa5bda4e359b743e7f9ab0fa868369c61c6a4ff","source_id":"us-ri","stale":true,"prev":"us-ri/r.i.-gen.-laws-23-17.17-3","next":"us-ri/r.i.-gen.-laws-23-17.17-5"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
