Laws § 23-19.12-13","heading":"Denial or revoking of licenses.","body":"The director of the department of environmental management may deny an application for a license, or suspend or revoke a license after it has been granted, or refuse to renew a license for any of the following reasons:\n(1) Proof of unfitness of the applicant or licensee to engage in the business;\n(2) A material misstatement by the applicant or licensee in his or her application for a license or renewal;\n(3) Failure of the applicant or licensee to comply with the provisions of this chapter or with any rule or regulation promulgated pursuant to this chapter;\n(4) A history of noncompliance with environmental regulations or standards, or conviction of any environmental crime.
