Laws § 23-33-12.1","heading":"Inspection and registration of private elevators.","body":"The chief inspector shall conduct a final acceptance inspection on completion of the installation, modification, or alteration of a private residence elevator before it is placed in service. Upon completion and final acceptance inspection of a private residence elevator, the homeowner shall register the private residence elevator with the department of labor and training.
