Laws § 23-39-6","heading":"Board duties.","body":"The duties of the board shall be as follows:\n(1) To evaluate the qualifications of applicants and review the required examination results administered by a testing agency approved by the board;\n(2) To recommend issue of licenses to applicants who meet the requirements of this chapter;\n(3) To administer, coordinate, and enforce the provision of this chapter and investigate persons engaging in practices which may violate the provisions of this chapter;\n(4) To deny, or revoke licenses to practice respiratory care as provided in this chapter;\n(5) To annually review the exam accepted by the board; and\n(6) To recommend to the director adoption of rules and regulations.","path":["Title 23 Health and Safety","Chapter 39 Respiratory Care Act"],"source_url":"https://webserver.rilegislature.gov/Statutes/TITLE23/23-39/23-39-6.htm","current_through":"site files published 2025-08-13","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T19:57:08Z","sha256":"62f9aad8efa21c92adff0f9b704295d1a08d530aeab9833031c79441be320eea","source_id":"us-ri","stale":true,"prev":"us-ri/r.i.-gen.-laws-23-39-5","next":"us-ri/r.i.-gen.-laws-23-39-7"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
