Laws § 23-59-2","heading":"Registration.","body":"(a) Except as provided in § 23-59-13, no provider shall engage in the business of providing or offering to provide continuing care at a facility in this state unless the provider has registered with the department with respect to the facility.\n(b) A registration statement shall be filed with the department by the provider on forms prescribed by the department and shall include:\n(1) All information required by the department pursuant to its enforcement of this chapter; and\n(2) The initial disclosure statement required by § 23-59-3.\n(c) Registration shall be deemed complete if the department has not notified the provider of incompleteness within ninety (90) days of the filing.","path":["Title 23 Health and Safety","Chapter 59 Continuing Care Provider Registration and Disclosure"],"source_url":"https://webserver.rilegislature.gov/Statutes/TITLE23/23-59/23-59-2.htm","current_through":"site files published 2025-08-13","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T19:57:09Z","sha256":"8525465c7192078a4ea9dbe421b8dd24acefadb4493c290b82ffb0fe59724bc9","source_id":"us-ri","stale":true,"prev":"us-ri/r.i.-gen.-laws-23-59-1","next":"us-ri/r.i.-gen.-laws-23-59-3"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
