Laws § 23-65-4","heading":"Director — Powers and duties.","body":"The director shall have the following powers and duties:\n(1) To issue, pursuant with rules and regulations promulgated by the board and approved by the director, all licenses, certifications, and registrations required by this chapter to duly qualified applicants;\n(2) To deny licenses, certifications, and registrations, to revoke, suspend or otherwise discipline licensees in accordance with the provisions of this chapter;\n(3) To provide assistance to the board in carrying out the provisions of this chapter by the provision of office space for the meeting of the board, for necessary record-keeping assistance and for clerical and staff assistance;\n(4) To exercise all other powers specifically conferred upon him or her by virtue of the provisions of this chapter or other applicable sections of the general laws of the state.","path":["Title 23 Health and Safety","Chapter 65 Board of Certification of Operators of Public Water Supply Facilities"],"source_url":"https://webserver.rilegislature.gov/Statutes/TITLE23/23-65/23-65-4.htm","current_through":"site files published 2025-08-13","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T19:57:10Z","sha256":"4b7e7112c6fd178675b3e998914bbb74bcf284f057b15d47e3b06a0a67a2623a","source_id":"us-ri","stale":true,"prev":"us-ri/r.i.-gen.-laws-23-65-3","next":"us-ri/r.i.-gen.-laws-23-65-5"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
