Laws § 28-60-1","heading":"Posting of veterans’ benefits and services.","body":"(a) The department of labor and training shall consult with the office of veterans services to create and distribute a veterans’ benefits and services poster.\n(b) Such poster shall, at a minimum, include information regarding the following services available to veterans:\n(1) Contact and website information for the office of veterans services and the department’s veterans’ program;\n(2) Substance abuse and mental health treatment;\n(3) Educational, workforce, and training resources;\n(4) Tax benefits;\n(5) Rhode Island state veteran drivers’ licenses and non-driver identification cards;\n(6) Eligibility for unemployment insurance benefits under state and/or federal law;\n(7) Legal services; and\n(8) Contact information for the United States Department of Veterans Affairs veterans crisis line.\n(c) Every employer in the state with more than fifty (50) full-time equivalent employees shall display the poster created pursuant to this section in a conspicuous place accessible to employees in the workplace.","path":["Title 28 Labor and Labor Relations","Chapter 60 Posting of Veterans’ Benefits and Services"],"source_url":"https://webserver.rilegislature.gov/Statutes/TITLE28/28-60/28-60-1.htm","current_through":"site files published 2025-08-13","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T19:58:05Z","sha256":"9642032b8b0ebcd28b785a9fb29041ec3d78063553dfb04d54ca969f3b25e937","source_id":"us-ri","stale":true,"prev":"us-ri/r.i.-gen.-laws-28-59-3","next":"us-ri/r.i.-gen.-laws-29-1-1"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
