Laws § 30-17.1-9","heading":"Definitions.","body":"When used in this chapter, the following terms shall have the following meanings:\n(1) “Advisory committee” means the veterans’ services strategic plan advisory committee as established in § 30-17.1-10.\n(2) “Committee” means the veterans’ committee pursuant to the provisions of § 30-17.1-11(c).\n(3) “State agencies” means state entities responsible for the implementation of services for Rhode Island veterans and their families including:\n(i) The office of veterans services;\n(ii) The Rhode Island public transit authority;\n(iii) The department of human services;\n(iv) The office of postsecondary education;\n(v) The department of behavioral healthcare, developmental disabilities and hospitals;\n(vi) The department of health;\n(vii) The office of healthy aging;\n(viii) The department of business regulation;\n(ix) The Rhode Island veteran’s court;\n(x) The department of labor and training;\n(xi) The Rhode Island commerce corporation;\n(xii) The office of the secretary of state; and\n(xiii) The Rhode Island national guard.\n(4) “Veterans’ services strategic plan (‘VSSP’)” means the strategic plan as established in § 30-17.1-11.","path":["Title 30 Military Affairs and Defense","Chapter 17.1 Veterans’ Affairs"],"source_url":"https://webserver.rilegislature.gov/Statutes/TITLE30/30-17.1/30-17.1-9.htm","current_through":"site files published 2025-08-13","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T19:58:11Z","sha256":"e6e3fe85f19bf03645e10029af2d2d623e9fd9fe2b77c69c61079c52bc9621d4","source_id":"us-ri","stale":true,"prev":"us-ri/r.i.-gen.-laws-30-17.1-8","next":"us-ri/r.i.-gen.-laws-30-17.1-10"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
