Laws § 39-1-5","heading":"Removal of commissioner from office.","body":"Commissioners may at any time be removed from office by the governor for inefficiency, neglect of duty, or malfeasance in office, but no commissioner shall be removed from office without an opportunity to be heard, publicly before the governor and after being given notice in writing of the charges against him or her.
