Laws § 39-27.1-3","heading":"Scope.","body":"(a) The provisions of this chapter apply to:\n(1) Commercial dishwashers;\n(2) Commercial fryers;\n(3) Commercial hot-food holding cabinets;\n(4) Commercial ovens;\n(5) Commercial steam cookers;\n(6) Electric vehicle supply equipment;\n(7) Faucets;\n(8) Gas fireplaces;\n(9) Portable electric spas;\n(10) Residential ventilating fans;\n(11) Showerheads;\n(12) Spray sprinkler bodies;\n(13) Urinals;\n(14) Water closets; and\n(15) Water coolers.\n(b) The provisions of this chapter do not apply to:\n(1) New products manufactured in the state and sold outside the state;\n(2) New products manufactured outside the state and sold at wholesale inside the state for final retail sale and installation outside the state;\n(3) Products installed in mobile manufactured homes at the time of construction; or\n(4) Products designed expressly for installation and use in recreational vehicles.","path":["Title 39 Public Utilities and Carriers","Chapter 27.1 Appliance and Equipment Energy and Water Efficiency Standards Act of 2021"],"source_url":"https://webserver.rilegislature.gov/Statutes/TITLE39/39-27.1/39-27.1-3.htm","current_through":"site files published 2025-08-13","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T19:59:22Z","sha256":"f0bc75ddeae7904f49cb6a6c24908c22faf5f119831d99809e2f57f2a70efcfb","source_id":"us-ri","stale":true,"prev":"us-ri/r.i.-gen.-laws-39-27.1-2","next":"us-ri/r.i.-gen.-laws-39-27.1-4"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
