Laws § 40-8.8-6","heading":"Eligibility.","body":"To be eligible for benefits under the program of all-inclusive care for the elderly:\n(1) The person shall meet the eligibility criteria for both the Rhode Island medical assistance program and for the federal Medicare program; and\n(2) The person shall meet the eligibility criteria for the program of all-inclusive care for the elderly as established by the United States Department of Health and Human Services and the state department of human services, including, but not limited to:\n(i) Being at least fifty-five (55) years old;\n(ii) Residing in the program of all-inclusive care for the elderly service area; and\n(iii) Being certified as eligible for nursing home care by the state department of human services.","path":["Title 40 Human Services","Chapter 8.8 Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly"],"source_url":"https://webserver.rilegislature.gov/Statutes/TITLE40/40-8.8/40-8.8-6.htm","current_through":"site files published 2025-08-13","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T19:59:27Z","sha256":"a7b203efac02d5ef276ed9e2c110555260359f7d66c194f361127ad6fd97fe13","source_id":"us-ri","stale":true,"prev":"us-ri/r.i.-gen.-laws-40-8.8-5","next":"us-ri/r.i.-gen.-laws-40-8.8-7"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
