Laws § 5-20-13","heading":"Functions of board of examiners.","body":"The state board of plumbing examiners shall aid and cooperate with the director of the department of labor and training and the division of professional regulation:\n(1) In preparing forms for application for examinations for license;\n(2) In preparing subject matter, questions, and all necessary items for examination as provided in this chapter and in reviewing examinations to evaluate their effectiveness;\n(3) In preparation of rules to govern examinations and hearings for revocation and reinstatement of licenses;\n(4) In the performance of any other duties for the purpose of carrying out the provisions of this chapter that are prescribed by the director of the department of labor and training; and\n(5) In the adoption and revision of any rules and regulations not inconsistent with the law that are necessary to carry into effect the provisions of this chapter.","path":["Title 5 Businesses and Professions","Chapter 20 Plumbers, Irrigators, and Water System Installers"],"source_url":"https://webserver.rilegislature.gov/Statutes/TITLE5/5-20/5-20-13.htm","current_through":"site files published 2025-08-13","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T14:25:14Z","sha256":"4e6353387b04cf9d977cf2b49fb5f16da310172b2e6f8dce09d4bbc95c363a33","source_id":"us-ri","stale":true,"prev":"us-ri/r.i.-gen.-laws-5-20-12.1","next":"us-ri/r.i.-gen.-laws-5-20-14"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
