Laws § 5-64-6","heading":"Applicant qualifications — Fees.","body":"(a) When filing an application for a license the applicant must present evidence of:\n(1) Completion of a baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate degree with a program in nutrition or dietetics; and\n(2) Completion of a board-approved, planned, continuous experience in dietetic practice of not less than nine hundred (900) hours under the supervision of a registered dietitian or dietitian/nutritionist licensed in the state; and\n(3) Passing an examination.\n(b) Each application shall be accompanied by a fee as set forth in § 23-1-54.","path":["Title 5 Businesses and Professions","Chapter 64 Dietitian/Nutritionist Act"],"source_url":"https://webserver.rilegislature.gov/Statutes/TITLE5/5-64/5-64-6.htm","current_through":"site files published 2025-08-13","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T16:14:49Z","sha256":"8c56500e60bd1d3c83a2b614924ed0dc13fe3753334fced202691ef10c7dc714","source_id":"us-ri","stale":true,"prev":"us-ri/r.i.-gen.-laws-5-64-5","next":"us-ri/r.i.-gen.-laws-5-64-7"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
