Laws § 5-8-9","heading":"Records and reports.","body":"(a) The board shall keep a record of its proceedings and of all applications for registration, which the record shall show:\n(1) The name, age, and last known address of each applicant;\n(2) The date of application;\n(3) The place of business of the applicant;\n(4) His or her education, experience, and other qualifications;\n(5) Type of examination required;\n(6) Whether or not the applicant was rejected;\n(7) Whether or not a certificate of registration was granted;\n(8) The date of the action of the board; and\n(9) Any other information that is deemed necessary by the board.\n(b) The record of the board shall be prima facie evidence of the proceedings of the division, and a transcript of the record, certified by the board under seal, is admissible in evidence with the same force and effect as if the original were produced.","path":["Title 5 Businesses and Professions","Chapter 8 Engineers"],"source_url":"https://webserver.rilegislature.gov/Statutes/TITLE5/5-8/5-8-9.htm","current_through":"site files published 2025-08-13","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T14:18:12Z","sha256":"57252f13c346d61aeaf7fb51eeffc71db9e7eaee9f485b13ab451d36facd6838","source_id":"us-ri","stale":true,"prev":"us-ri/r.i.-gen.-laws-5-8-8","next":"us-ri/r.i.-gen.-laws-5-8-10"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
