Laws § 5-88-2","heading":"Disqualification for license issuance.","body":"The provisions of § 5-88-1 shall not apply unless all the following apply:\n(1) The board in the other state holds the person in good standing;\n(2) The person does not have a disqualifying criminal record as determined by the board in accordance with § 28-5.1-14;\n(3) No board in any other state has revoked the person’s occupational license, certificate, or permit as a result of negligence or intentional misconduct;\n(4) The person did not surrender an occupational license, certificate, or permit because of negligence or intentional misconduct;\n(5) The person does not have a complaint, allegation, or investigation currently pending before a board in another state which relates to unprofessional conduct or an alleged crime; and\n(6) The person pays all applicable fees in this state.","path":["Title 5 Businesses and Professions","Chapter 88 Military Member and Spouse License Issuance"],"source_url":"https://webserver.rilegislature.gov/Statutes/TITLE5/5-88/5-88-2.htm","current_through":"site files published 2025-08-13","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-05T16:45:29Z","sha256":"a6dfc16ac20d33d8fa6f9e7b7f6b81bb24bca1dfa5c99bcf6f72712596144480","source_id":"us-ri","stale":true,"prev":"us-ri/r.i.-gen.-laws-5-88-1","next":"us-ri/r.i.-gen.-laws-5-88-3"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
