Code Ann. § 12-28-1550","heading":"Requirements for exporting fuel.","body":"(A) No person may export motor fuel subject to the user fee from this State unless that person has obtained an exporter's license or a supplier's license or has paid the applicable destination state motor fuel user fee to the supplier and can demonstrate proof of exporting in the form of a destination state bill of lading.\n(B) A person who negligently violates this section is subject to a five hundred dollar civil penalty for each violation.\n(C) A person who knowingly violates or knowingly aids and abets another to violate this section is guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction, must be fined not more than ten thousand dollars or imprisoned not more than three years, or both.\n(D) An end user who exports fuel in a vehicle fuel supply tank incident to interstate transportation is exempt from this section.","path":["Title 12 - TAXATION","CHAPTER 28 Motor Fuels Subject to User Fees","ARTICLE 15 Shipping Requirements"],"source_url":"https://www.scstatehouse.gov/code/t12c028.php","current_through":"2025 Session of the General Assembly","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-02T06:35:59Z","sha256":"7083df45a36d9b1716d48dc9958d5a662ca799bdcd1529de5061b2259389e370","source_id":"us-sc","stale":false,"prev":"us-sc/s.c.-code-ann.-12-28-1545","next":"us-sc/s.c.-code-ann.-12-28-1555"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
