Code Ann. § 2-1-130","heading":"Distribution without charge of copies of legislative manual.","body":"The clerk of the House of Representatives may distribute, without charge, copies of each legislative manual as published to the following individuals, institutions and offices in South Carolina:\n(a) Members, clerks and attaches of the General Assembly;\n(b) Members of the South Carolina Congressional Delegation;\n(c) Justices of the Supreme Court and circuit judges;\n(d) Circuit and county court solicitors;\n(e) Clerks of court;\n(f) State departments, boards and commissions;\n(g) Representatives of news media reporting sessions of the General Assembly;\n(h) State-supported institutions of higher learning;\n(i) Penal and charitable institutions;\n(j) Federal departments;\n(k) Public schools;\n(l) Public libraries;\n(m) schools; and\n(n) In those counties with only one resident member of the House of Representatives, the same number of manuals shall be issued that was normally issued to such county when it had a resident Senator.","path":["Title 2 - GENERAL ASSEMBLY","CHAPTER 1 General Provisions"],"source_url":"https://www.scstatehouse.gov/code/t02c001.php","current_through":"2025 Session of the General Assembly","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-02T06:17:44Z","sha256":"0cb55e0661905f49abca444872faf9aa250bf382c699669031cfb3b35880b88c","source_id":"us-sc","stale":false,"prev":"us-sc/s.c.-code-ann.-2-1-120","next":"us-sc/s.c.-code-ann.-2-1-140"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
