Code Ann. § 23-21-70","heading":"Proceedings against officers; suspension; temporary appointments.","body":"The mode of preferring accusations against the officers and members of the police force and of their trial shall be prescribed by city ordinance. The city council shall also prescribe the manner of suspending until trial the chief of police or any other police officer or policeman, when an accusation is brought.
