Code Ann. § 34-30-560","heading":"Failure of examination to disclose complete financial condition; audit of examination; revaluation of assets or liabilities; expenses.","body":"(A) If, in the opinion of the board, an examination conducted under Section 34-30-550 fails to disclose the complete financial condition of a state savings bank, the board, in order to ascertain its complete financial condition, may make an extended:\n(1) audit of examination of the state savings bank or cause an audit or examination to be made by an independent auditor at the expense of the state savings bank; and\n(2) revaluation of the assets or liabilities of the state savings bank or cause an independent appraiser to make a revaluation at the expense of the state savings bank.\n(B) The board may collect from the state savings bank a reasonable sum for actual or necessary expenses of revaluation or audit of examination.","path":["Title 34 - BANKING, FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS AND MONEY","CHAPTER 30 State Savings Bank","ARTICLE 4 Supervision"],"source_url":"https://www.scstatehouse.gov/code/t34c030.php","current_through":"2025 Session of the General Assembly","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-02T07:06:44Z","sha256":"e718dcc96004f8a51730e1402eb559cad9d8080fa438f1314ec6aa107bb7d38a","source_id":"us-sc","stale":false,"prev":"us-sc/s.c.-code-ann.-34-30-550","next":"us-sc/s.c.-code-ann.-34-30-570"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
