Code Ann. § 34-39-210","heading":"Suspension or revocation of license.","body":"(A) The board may suspend or revoke a license issued pursuant to this chapter if, after notice and opportunity for hearing, the board issues written findings that the licensee has:\n(1) violated this chapter or applicable state or federal law;\n(2) made a false statement on the application for a license under the chapter;\n(3) refused to permit investigation by the board as authorized by this chapter;\n(4) failed to comply with an order of the board;\n(5) demonstrated incompetency or untrustworthiness to engage in the business of deferred presentment services; or\n(6) been convicted of a felony or misdemeanor involving fraud, misrepresentation, or deceit.\n(B) The board may not suspend or revoke a license issued pursuant to this chapter unless the licensee has been given notice and opportunity for hearing in accordance with the Administrative Procedures Act.","path":["Title 34 - BANKING, FINANCIAL INSTITUTIONS AND MONEY","CHAPTER 39 Deferred Presentment Services"],"source_url":"https://www.scstatehouse.gov/code/t34c039.php","current_through":"2025 Session of the General Assembly","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-02T07:07:04Z","sha256":"4afde5a225ceba54f0dadff068a9ef61f4d901a453d3dae2e9ea482546ddfafc","source_id":"us-sc","stale":false,"prev":"us-sc/s.c.-code-ann.-34-39-200","next":"us-sc/s.c.-code-ann.-34-39-220"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
