Code Ann. § 40-3-255","heading":"South Carolina Architecture Education and Research Fund established.","body":"(A) The department, at the board's request, may allocate up to ten dollars of each renewal fee to the South Carolina Architecture Education and Research Fund, which must be established as a separate and distinct account and used exclusively for:\n(1) advancement of education and research for the benefit of individuals and firms licensed under this chapter and for architectural interns;\n(2) analysis and evaluation of factors which affect the architecture profession in this State; and\n(3) dissemination of the results of the research.\n(B) The board shall submit to the Chairmen of the House and Senate Labor, Commerce and Industry Committees by August first of each year a report on how the funds were expended for the preceding fiscal year.","path":["Title 40 - PROFESSIONS AND OCCUPATIONS","CHAPTER 3 Architects"],"source_url":"https://www.scstatehouse.gov/code/t40c003.php","current_through":"2025 Session of the General Assembly","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-02T07:20:04Z","sha256":"d465128b39292ad502ac2b9a8d38d2e51146687b9d5afb39d9436d7e398f1fb8","source_id":"us-sc","stale":false,"prev":"us-sc/s.c.-code-ann.-40-3-250","next":"us-sc/s.c.-code-ann.-40-3-260"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
