Code Ann. § 40-56-120","heading":"Discipline.","body":"(A) Upon a determination by the board that grounds for discipline exist, the board is authorized to:\n(1) issue a public reprimand;\n(2) impose a civil penalty not to exceed two thousand five hundred dollars;\n(3) place a licensee on probation or restrict or suspend a license for a definite or indefinite time period and prescribe conditions to be met during this period including, but not limited to, satisfactory completion of additional education, or a supervisory period; or\n(4) revoke the license.\n(B) The board may take disciplinary action against a person for:\n(1) the grounds stated in Chapter 1; or\n(2) a condition found as a result of an inspection, examination, or investigation provided for in Section 40-56-80 that is hazardous to public safety.","path":["Title 40 - PROFESSIONS AND OCCUPATIONS","CHAPTER 56 State Board of Pyrotechnic Safety"],"source_url":"https://www.scstatehouse.gov/code/t40c056.php","current_through":"2025 Session of the General Assembly","vintage":"","retrieved_at":"2026-09-02T07:23:24Z","sha256":"ad9415c636085d1d00aa845c247c4b85a565a701f363457db862ce5233550c21","source_id":"us-sc","stale":false,"prev":"us-sc/s.c.-code-ann.-40-56-115","next":"us-sc/s.c.-code-ann.-40-56-130"},"notice":"GroundRules: Original legal text.
