Code Ann. § 40-69-40","heading":"Board officers and meetings; quorum.","body":"In addition to the powers and duties enumerated in Section 40-1-50, the board, at the first board meeting in each calendar year, shall elect from the veterinarian members a chairman, vice chairman, and any other officer it considers necessary. The board shall meet at least twice a year and upon the call of the chairman or any two members of the board.
