Code Ann. § 41-29-40","heading":"Unemployment Compensation and Employment Service Divisions; directors.","body":"There are created under the department two coordinate divisions, the South Carolina State Employment Service Division, and a division to be known as the Unemployment Compensation Division. Each division must be administered by a full-time salaried director, who is subject to the supervision and direction of the department. The department may appoint, fix the compensation of, and prescribe the duties of the directors of these divisions.
